kin'ra is rather horrible at being a normal person. vibrant lion killed his guardian when he was young, and took kin'ra on to work his crime business. the keeper specialized in manipulating people for information. mostly sexually. once he escaped vibrant, he found new dawn and is currently residing there.
important past events
a doctor's heart - kin'ra has felt love for the first time in his life, and it's painful. the man (syrenen) who takes care of patients at new dawn, took care of kin'ra when he most needed it. in turn, the keeper fell hard. but not having those scary, intimate feelings returned is making him uneasy since he's never felt anything of the type before.
the lions den - vibrant lion is actively searching for kin'ra. he wants him back and he will stop at nothing to get his property. meanwhile, kin'ra is desperately trying to get back to vibrant to kill him. even if it means going at the risk of losing his freedom. after vibrant hurt his close friend mhridi'a, the cards were set.

originating from othrad, aspen had always been fascinated by the unknown even at a young age. be it aether, death, or things beyond the void. he grew up fairly normally, though he had trouble controlling his own aether. despite having an abundance of it, his magic is not something he tends to rely on. Unless he wants to char something, or force a random person or object to explode.

the palace - there are things that one could not explain. aspen wants to learn about said things. he loves exploring the palace of the dead, and he constantly travels there in an attempt to go deeper. though not everything is as it seems...

death in the family - lion is always one to defend his men. so long as they deserve it. one of these men caused a rift between lion's friend (moss) years back, and it ended with the death of moss' husband by lion's hand. moss is now back, and on a mission to pay the roegadyn back for what he's done. or rather, what he's taken away.

a fuck for your thoughts - despite working at the 42nd, khadgar is restless. he is so used to working on the field, and killing/capturing whats assigned of him, that he's irate, and working on his people skills. including taking advantage of a certain someones situation.

not the same - falling in love was never something ryou expected to do. but it happened. and it happened to a man he worked with for years before getting to where he is now. neal dartius had his own quarks, but the two of them became the best of friends, which eventually led to something deeper before things fell apart. now it's a bitter topic for him, as he is in charge of neal who is a product of white lily.
reverse - not wanting to get into trouble, or worse, killed, ryou has been working diligently at finding a cure for white lily. so far though, hes had to tread lightly, and has had no success. his assistant kai doesn't even know.

otto grew up with vibrant lion and his the roegadyns moss for a few years. he was one of the original business partners of the three. together, they took the markets of ul'dah by storm. at least until drama befell the trio. unhappy, moss left ul'dah to pursue a weapons industry in kugane. and because otto wanted to stay with vibrant, moss took measures into his own hands and stole the hyur. otto lived with moss for years until he managed to escape thanks to vibrant's lover avriel. now, he lives with them in ul'dah again, working as lion's accountant of sorts.
